Cynthia N. Day serves as the Chair of the Audit Committee of our Board of Directors. Ms. Day is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of Citizens Bancshares Corporation and Citizens Trust Bank. She served as Chief Operating Officer and Senior Executive Vice President of Citizens Trust Bank from 2003 to January 2012 and served as its acting President and Chief Executive Officer from January 2012 to February 2012. Ms. Day previously served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and in other capacities of Citizens Federal Savings Bank of Birmingham from 1993 until its acquisition by Citizens Trust Bank in 2003 and previously served as an audit manager for KPMG. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Primerica, Inc., Citizens Bancshares Corporation and its subsidiary, Citizens Trust Bank. Ms. Day has also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the National Bankers Association, the Georgia Society of CPAs, the University of Alabama Continuing Education Advisory Board and the United Negro College Fund. Among other qualifications, Ms. Day brings significant management and financial experience to our Board of Directors.
